Queensbridge sits in the middle of Hackney’s E8, hard against London Fields to the east and De Beauvoir to the west. The spine of it is Queensbridge Road itself, and the east side of that road forms a conservation area designated in 1985, a run of mid-Victorian terraces and villas put up between the 1850s and 1870s with a number of listed houses among them. The nearest railway is London Fields on the Overground Weaver line, opened back in 1872, with Hackney Central, Dalston Junction and Haggerston all a short walk off.
