London Carpet Cleaning cleans carpets, sofas and rugs across Seven Sisters, N15, from £36 a room and touch-dry in 1 to 2 hours. Fixed prices, no call-out fee, and a re-clean guarantee. We have worked these streets since 2009, from the terraces around St Ann’s Road to the flats above the shops on Seven Sisters Road itself.
What Seven Sisters homes are like
Seven Sisters sits at the western edge of Tottenham, built out for workers in the 1880s and still wearing that history in its brick. Most of what we clean is a two-storey Victorian terrace in London stock brick, canted bay to the front room, and a long lath-and-plaster hallway that funnels every bit of foot traffic. A large share of these houses were split into upstairs and downstairs flats decades ago, so a single address often means two separate carpets, two front doors and two bookings on the same street.
The St Ann’s conservation area covers a tight grid of these streets, Cornwall Road, Suffolk Road and Grove Road among them, and the terrace along Avenue Road is a good example of the type: white-rendered door surrounds, bay windows, small forecourts rather than driveways. Newer stock has arrived too. The Peabody scheme on the old St Ann’s Hospital land has brought purpose-built flats into the mix, and they come with the light, pale carpet that reads clean on day one and shows every mark by month six. Transport is unusually good: Seven Sisters runs the Victoria line and the Weaver line of the Overground, with a short signed walk to South Tottenham on the Suffragette line. Markfield Park, down by the River Lea with its Grade II listed beam engine, is where a lot of the local mud starts its journey home.
What we see across Seven Sisters
The jobs here cluster around family life and moving day. End-of-tenancy carpet cleans are the steadiest work, often the whole flat plus the shared hall, because landlords around Bruce Grove and West Green Road hold deposits tightly and want a receipt. After that it is children’s spills and pet traffic in the front rooms, greasy headrests on fabric sofas, and mattresses that need a deodorising clean. Big patterned wool rugs come to us by collection, especially the ones that have taken a party’s worth of red wine in one evening.
One honest limit: in the older solid-wall terraces, marks along the skirting and by the radiators are sometimes wicking damp or old sun-fade in the pile, not surface dirt. A hot-water extraction clean lifts the ingrained soil and takes most radiator shadows back a long way, but where the fibre has bleached or the backing has been marked by long-standing damp, cleaning improves it without fully erasing it. We tell you on the doorstep which marks will shift and which are permanent, before we start.

Carpet, upholstery and rug cleaning in Seven Sisters
Carpets are cleaned by hot-water extraction, which is why they are touch-dry so quickly; you can read more about our steam carpet cleaning and how it works on wool and synthetic pile alike. Sofas, armchairs and mattresses come under our upholstery cleaning, and the larger front-room pieces go out for rug cleaning off site, then come back wrapped so they stay dry on the way in. If you are outside N15, we cover the rest of Haringey on the same fixed prices and the same guarantee.
Seven Sisters questions, answered
Which parts of N15 do you cover?
All of it, and the streets around it: the St Ann’s grid, the terraces off West Green Road and St Ann’s Road, the blocks near Seven Sisters and Bruce Grove stations, and the newer flats towards Tottenham Green and South Tottenham. If you are on the N15 boundary and unsure, send the postcode and we will confirm.
Where will the van park on these terraced streets?
Most of Seven Sisters is a controlled parking zone with kerbside bays and no driveways, so we park on the street near your door and run the hose in from there. A permit-holder space right outside is a bonus, not a need. For upstairs flats, a quick heads-up about the front door helps us load in fast.
Can you get a flat cleared in time for a tenancy checkout?
Yes, and it is a lot of what we do here. We clean every room plus the hall and stairs in one visit, work to your checkout time, and leave a dated receipt for the agent or landlord. Booking a day or two before the handover gives the carpets time to dry before the final inspection.
How long will the carpets take to dry?
Usually 1 to 2 hours to touch-dry, a little longer in a ground-floor or basement flat where the air is still and cool. We lift most of the moisture out with the machine rather than leaving it in the pile, so you are back on the carpet the same day. Opening a window speeds the last of it.
Every clean carries our re-clean guarantee: if a mark we treated comes back, we return and re-do it at no charge. We are fully insured and DBS-checked, and we have cleaned carpets, sofas and rugs across Seven Sisters and the rest of Haringey since 2009.
