The typical Shoreditch job is a pale carpet in an open-plan flat that has taken a hit. Where will the cleaner park for a warehouse flat?
Almost all of Shoreditch is a controlled parking zone, and the Hackney and Tower Hamlets boundary runs right through it, so the rules can change from one side of a street to the other. Can you get wine and wax out of a light carpet?
Usually yes. Fresh red wine and dried candle wax are two of the most common calls we get off Hoxton Square, and both respond well to heat and the right extraction. The sooner you leave it and stop scrubbing, the better the odds, so cover it and call us rather than attacking it with supermarket sprays.
How long will a loft flat take to dry?
Reckon on one to two hours for touch-dry on most carpets. In a top-floor loft with big rooms and little through-draught it can run to the evening, especially in damp weather, so we open what windows we can and set the machine to a drier finish. Underfloor heating on a low setting afterwards helps it along.
