What St Luke’s homes are like

Where does your van park on the estates and converted blocks?
This falls inside an Islington controlled parking zone, and the Peabody and St Luke’s estates are permit-only with no visitor bays, so we use a nearby pay-and-display or meter bay and carry the machine in. Our kit is portable, so a fourth-floor warehouse flat with a small lift, or a walk-up with a narrow original stairwell, is no problem.
Can you get out coffee and food stains from a light carpet?
Usually, yes. Coffee, tea and most food spills lift well with hot-water extraction if they have not been scrubbed in, and the sooner we see them the better. On the pale greige carpets common in converted flats we spot-treat first, then clean the whole room so there is no clean patch left standing out against the rest.
How long until the carpet is dry?
